Rob Pisani
Rob Pisani
Founding partner and President of Appraisal LinksMy name is Robert Pisani I am the founding partner and President of Appraisal Links. Appraisal Links is a full-service national Appraisal Management company.
I started my career journey right after high school. While attending a small college I worked full time on Wall Street, after six years I turned my sights on real estate. At this point I became a Real estate appraiser. I started my business in Staten Island NY and quickly expanded throughout all downstate NY including Nassau and Suffolk County. I began training and adding appraisers to my company and we quickly took on the entire state of New Jersey. All was good until the financial crisis of 2007-2008.
Our government made changes to the system and implemented the AMC model (Appraisal Management Company) this took effect in May of 2009. The initial rule was based on HVCC (the Home Valuation code of Conduct, this legislation was sunsetted in 2012 and was replaced by the Dodd Frank Act. I read the writing on the wall and decided it was something that I could do myself and so I did. I currently own Appraisal Links which was launched in May 2009 just in time. We started small and regional just in the Northeast. We are currently national and expanding into Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands.
Over the past 16 years I have made it my business to find the very best appraisers and add them to my panel. And as of now we currently have just under twelve thousand appraisers working with us across the country. The best part is we are still growing everyday . The best is truly yet to come!

Paula Huhn
Paula Huhn
Senior Loan Officer, Funding America MortgageWhen I bought my first home, I was offered lending options that were less than ideal. My story is similar to many who bought in the 2000’s. I was told I could borrower way more than budget and although it got me excited, I was nervous about moving forward. In comes the professional who actually took the time to care and lead to a financial position where the payment was close to what I was paying in rent and wouldn’t end up bankrupting me. A plan was developed and that plan lead to the best financial decision.
Getting into mortgage lending, I thought back to that experience and strive to do the same thing for my borrowers, referral real estate agents, attorneys, and business tax accountants. I am more than just a loan officer, and I want to give more than just great loans. I want to make sure that everyone I meet is impacted in a positive way.
“Each smallest act of kindness, reverberates across great distances and spans of time-- affecting lives unknown to the one who’s generous spirit, was the source of this good echo. Because kindness is passed on and grows each time it’s passed until a simple courtesy becomes an act of selfless courage, years later, and far away.” ~ Dean Koontz, From the Corner of His Eye
